Floral paintings, created by artist Khara Flint, are inspired by botanical scenes in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Her pen-and-ink watercolors resemble luscious, vividly-colored tapestries. Khara combines color and motif to complement any style and decor along with creating original designs. Some of Khara's highlights include a solo art exhibit at the Carriage House Gallery in Lambertville, New Jersey as well as commissioned, framed floral paintings featured at the Vasser Designer Show House in the Main Line and Chimney Hill Bed and Breakfast of Lambertville. Her work is also on display/available for sale at The Copper Partridge Folk Art, Antiques & Gifts located at 135 N. Main Street in Sellersville, PA.

Khara continues to create floral paintings and hand-painted tiles privately for clients as well as for tile showrooms, design centers and interior designers. She has emulated many designs from wallpaper borders to fabric swatches for tile installation and custom framed watercolors. Her tiles can be seen at the Children's Garden at the Camden Aquarium in NJ where she hand-painted the story of "The Secret Garden" for an outdoor installation.

Khara received her B.S. in Art Education from Kutztown University, PA and her M.Ed. in Art from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, PA. She then taught Art classes (K-12) for twelve years in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School district in located in Devon, Pennsylvania.

Currently, Khara teaches Adult Clay classes for fun (to the community at large) and Act 48 Credits (for teachers). Her classes are offered through the Bucks County Historical Society and the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. For more information about Khara's upcoming classes, please click here.
